Augusta is located between the Meldahl and Greenup dam’s on the Ohio River. The dam’s are 95 miles apart. Anglers may fish either shoreline, but may not fish the tributaries or embayments of the neighboring state with-out an additional license from that state. There is a launch fee to use this facility Most travel to Augusta should be on the AA Highway (route 9) and take 19 to Augusta to avoid travel on the older route 8. |
