Cave Run Lake is located in the Daniel Boone National Forest. The lake was built in 1973 and covers 8,270 acres. Engine power is un-restricted, but Bass have a protected slot – please visit the Kentucky Deptartment of Fish and Wildlife Resources for more information. Parking permits are required and available from many local merchants – Parking Permits The club normally uses the Warix ramp, but will launch from the Alfrey ramp if Warix is closed due to flooding. |

NOTE: The Forestry Service has special regulations for commercial and noncommercial group use. In some instances a permit may be required.

During tournaments, most members stay at the Twin Knobs Campground. Reservations are recomended as the campground fills up most weekends during the summer months.
